April 6 Update
Allen Press continues to take multiple precautions to keep its team healthy during these challenging times, including routinely disinfecting onsite work areas and maintaining appropriate distances between team members. Many team members are operating remotely and digital and printed content is being produced on schedule.
Our shipping and mailing teams continue to monitor all regular distribution channels and are communicating with any customer who may be affected by delays. We are seeing some minor delays in international shipments.
To our clients who are giving free digital access to COVID-19 – related content during this crisis, thank you for your increased support of the STEM community.
March 23 Update
Our printing facility and publisher service teams continue to deliver work from all departments of Allen Press.
Allen Press is considered an ‘essential business’ and may remain open under the ‘stay at home’ order issued by the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department. We are subject to, and following, other aspects of the order such as sanitizing our work environment and maintaining distances between co-workers as much as possible.
Like many business owners, we continue to stay in close contact with local and state health officials and are taking multiple precautions to keep our team healthy during this challenging time.
We continue to monitor all delivery channels and will update customers if there are any delays to shipments or mailings.
Allen Press is committed to providing a safe work environment at all times and especially now as we adapt to the circumstances around the coronavirus.
Our goals are to help our team members stay healthy and to minimize any negative impacts to our customers.
• Business continues uninterrupted today in all areas of our operations.
• We are staying in close touch with our vendors and suppliers and will communicate any impacts to shipping or delivery dates.
• As we all know, the situation is changing rapidly. We will continue to share updates as changes occur.
