LAWRENCE, Kan. – July 31, 2019 – Allen Press, Inc. was awarded Silver at the 2019 Association Media & Publishing (AM&P) EXCEL Awards in the category of Pro Bono Promotional Content. Awards were announced at the 39th Annual EXCEL Awards Gala in Washington, DC held June 24. The award recognized the logo redesign and new brand identity performed for the Tire Society in August 2018. The AM&P EXCEL Awards is a distinguished competition that recognizes excellence and leadership in nonprofit association media, publishing, marketing and communications.
In July 2018, Allen Press approached the Tire Society to create a new and refreshed brand identity that would in turn spark interest within the society’s community, increase member engagement and improve the organization’s brand awareness and reach. Pro bono marketing services included a new brand identity for the society and its journal, including a redesigned logo, color palette, typography options and marketing collateral.
“We love our new logo. We work hard behind the scenes to make the Tire Society stronger every year, but members don’t always see that right away,” said Will Mars, Vice President of the Tire Society. “The new logo expresses our core identity and immediately communicates that we are staying fresh.”
